Child Car Seats - Make the Safest Choice

The Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) of NSW in cooperation with the NRMA Motoring & Services, the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria, the Traffic Accident Commission, and the Royal Automobile Club of WA has recently launched a new website dedicated to the Child restraint Evaluation Program (CREP). This website is an online version of the brochure “Child Restraint Safety Ratings” which provides restraint buyers independent and consistent information on the levels of occupant protection from injury in a crash provided by child restraints, and the ease with which they can be used correctly.

The website is a great resource for fitters and members of the public as it provides much more detail on the CREP including information on how the restraints are tested, crash testing videos of unrestrained or incorrectly restrained children as well as restraint images and dimensions.

The new address for this site is www.childcarseats.com.au
